I thought CKD liked smaller faster O-linemen. Or I thought that was said earlier in the season. Those guys are all big dudes over 300. That’s our more traditional size guy.

I doubt we ever see a starting 5 as "light" as their UW line that won the Joe Moore Award, but even then only Brailsford was under 300. At Bama, they had to beef him up some. What they don't want is what the previous staff was aiming for... an OL that outweighs all the NFL lines. A 325 lb guard or tackles is just fine if they can move their feet and get out in space without issues. So far here in Tuscaloosa, they haven't had 5 as a unit that could all do that.

Cole Cubelic asked him about his NIL donation(s) after the game against Oregon the other night... paraphrasing here, but Cuban said he asked Scott Dolson (IU AD) what the biggest donation Indiana had ever received and before Dolson answered Cuban said, "because I'll double it." He went on to say that the enjoyment he's getting out of watching IU win at this level equals his enjoyment of watching the Mavs win the NBA title in 2011.

Basically, these billionaires like him and the Texas Tech dude (Cody Campbell) are playing the role of team owner with no salary restrictions and trying to buy championships for their own enjoyment. When you really just think about it for a minute, it's kinda unbelievable.
I guess it’s no longer meddling for a booster!
