Seems like CKD could issue a statement that all of his players have been told to answer no comment if ask. Still might not stop it but maybe reduce it? Try to manage it to some degree.

This is the players equivalent to coaches being asked of job openings when their name is being floated around.

Not really a good way to handle it (if they’re planning on leaving).

It would be interesting to see the numbers broken down. I may do that a little later this morning. We're looking at 10 seniors if all those guys stay.

At this point it's impossible to put Freshman and Signess together even thought it really distorts the first glance at the freshman class for this fall. Imagine a class of four!

20 offensive linemen on scholarship is a little heavy. Not too bad. I've seen a half of a dozen less with 15 sounding like it's about average. A transition in the player type is something we talked about. It wouldn't surprise me to see the number drop a few.

Off the top of your head, do you have a total? (I guess we could add the numbers if you chose to...)

Overkill on my part... the early departures tag will suffice for my intentions there.

I don't... and I purposely left off special teams. Just wanted a meat and potatoes roster picture. I'd personally wait until the dust settles in about a month before bothering with numbers.

When you can't get minutes as a RB with the current RB room then maybe it's time to work hard on the books for the future. There isn't a back on our team that will be a loss if they leave.
