Hell, I don't even give it much thought anymore, because it's crazy enough to be true and crazy enough to be absolutely false.
That was too crazy to be true. I just thought about it for a second or two.

39.4 million offer on the table.
Assuming part of that would be rev shares what percentage do you give a QB? Let's say they go with five million of the 20.5 cap. That leaves 34.4 million NIL deal.

McConaughey doesn't pull that kind of money with his name, image, likeness, and performances. 34.4 getting approved? No man. Too crazy to be true. FAR TO crazy.

Who would approve/reject that? I just took it at face value that it would be Cuban giving his money to it and somehow tie it to a revenue stream he has. Plenty of money to throw around, and when I look at Texas Tech which is a team number, they are spending money like crazy.

Wanted to add, two Championships in one's lifetime is enough to satisfy a man, so I didn't consider it too far fetched to run it back with a proven quarterback.

Deloitte. It has to be somewhat legit and those millions for one season on using his name, image, or likeness. As of two weeks ago they'd turned down over 5000 (in a world with 200K, so context.) Still, it has to carry some symbolance of legitimacy.
Isn't Mendoza out of eligibility? That's what makes me think it was "fake"
Yeah. It's as fake as the apology that begins, "I'm sorry, but you..."

I wonder if the comments are latching on to his eligibility or the money numbers. I didn't look...maybe Casey will.

34.4 getting approved?
From what I’ve heard, several ā€œschoolsā€ aren’t abiding by the ā€œncaa clearing houseā€ or whatever it’s called. Also talked to a former player of mine (now a GA) at a B1G school. He said Indianas payroll last year exceeded 40 million…….. I know on the ā€œlistsā€ they’re not nearly that high, but according to him that’s what the actual numbers look like.

I believe the roster cost this past season at IU to be within spitting distance of Bama, UGA, Ole Miss, et al. If Miami and Ruiz are publicly saying they are spending more money than other schools I believe they are telling the truth.

Yeah Miami offered the kicker at Virginia 1.5 million and he turned them down (his dad is a big time insurance guy, richer than 3 foot up a bulls ass) at least I assume he’s in insurance, I met him through a buddy of mine that is a big shot with State Farm. so the money wasn’t a big deal to them. Miami is spending big!!!!!

We kinda knew he'd be out, just waited until after the portal closed and we wrapped up other things first. Now the question is, who's the one to replace him?

There's a few names I like, I wonder how this will go. I also fully expect there to be 1-2 more staff moves this off-season still.
