I hate what college football has become. There usued to be commitment and pride in being part of Bama. Some paramaters have got to be put around this nonsense. Not sure anything would ever keep me from being a Bama fan because it is so built into me over decades but this is just painful to watch. There are multiple reasons I do not watch pro sports but that is one of them.

Imagine what it's like to be s coach. Pretty easy to see why Saban had had enough.

IDK what the NCAA is waiting on. Every coach dealing with this crap, wants to dial it back. Most are in agreement with the 1 time transfer rule. Get to transfer if you have graduated and eligibility remaining. That in and of itself will curb a lot of this nonsense. Still allow players to be paid, but not have the inmates running the asylum, so to speak.

If this is not dialed back soon, CFB will go the way of NASCAR. In the 90's and early 2000's the sport was growing by leaps and bounds and absolutely exploding. The stands at a neck-car race now look like most of these crappy bowls games played on a Tuesday night.

Making $10M with a big buyout buys me some grace. Paying money on the other hand has me pissed off.
The minority make that kind of money but if I was making it I think I'd want to move on to the NFL if I had the opportunity or put in a few seasons to build the bank and tell them they can have the shit show it's become.
The majority of coaches are not making that amount and they're watching every good athlete they found that they could get to their school leave at the first chance for more money. Good for the athletes bank account but pretty much nothing else good about it imo.
