No inside info like many of you have so just replying to what is being said. If this were true then this is saying more about the coaches than the player because they allowed it. Small indicators that keep showing up that concern me big picture...

It appears to be. To me the more reasonable conclusion is that Milroe was not ignoring the coaches as is being reported,

Yeah, I've been keeping that card to play in my hand for now. Having a bit more hindsight of last season, it is my opinion DeBoer was trying to keep the roster from depleting by more than 50% from January 2024 to January 2025. Remember, 'Bama has been his third school where the transfer portal was wide open after a coaching change. I think it is VERY clear that he knew what he was doing with roster management in the first 18 months of a new head coach. The mere fact that there were ZERO transfers after spring camp is inconceivable. Even the GOAT didn't do that.

Also, it does a appear that Milroe has sort of a skitzo attitude. Up & Down, etc. Don't think CKD wasn't addressing his sporadic behavior (see LSU & Auburn).

But back to the original point, hindsight seems to have revealed there has been a lot more intentionality than what we have been giving CKD credit for.

LSU folks "warned" us Bama folk that we would never know anything from Saban and his pressers. Nothing could have been further from the truth. You just had to learn to listen. DeBoer, so far, has been a different cat. He's been very close to the vest in his time here. Now, we are seeing why.

I've said all along we don't know what we are looking at in the fall until after the spring portal is closed. I was wrong. We knew what we were looking at before spring ball started.

Yeah Deboer appears to do a lot more coach speak. Not a fan of that. CNS was a lot easier to read.

To suggest he is a man of character is not correct. He doesn't know who he is. His balls haven't dropped.
