We had a similar thread last year, and like it, I will update this one with the movement as it happens and next season's roster takes shape. Obviously, all the players in red that are set to return, won't. And others will be added via the portal. But I'll keep this updated and keep track of it as it all unfolds. As always, let me know of any errors/mistakes.

Also, keep in mind, there are 13 scholarship spots available per season. As of now, Alabama is +2 (15 scholarshipped players), which means at a minimum, 2 of the following will not return.

Welp, Oats didn't get his way. I mentioned a few weeks back that Alabama was fighting auburn for the right to play Duke, Oats wanted them badly. Byrne was trying to help make it happen. It had a lot of momentum and I thought it would indeed happen. Looks like Pearl and auburn managed to get it in the end. Pure speculation on my part here, but I do wonder if Duke preferred to play auburn this time. Regardless, I doubt he will admit it publicly, and UNC isn't a bad consolation (other than this will be 3 times in 3 years now they've played)... but I'd bet Oats isn't thrilled... he's a big game hunter, and he wanted a Blue Devil on his wall.

I wanted @ Duke badly. But playing @ UNC is still great and it will be an intense ass game. Hubert definitely doesn't want to go 0-3 vs Oats.

I've said for years that Dabo couldn't handle the fishbowl he'd be living in at Bama.

Nate has created his own fishbowl. I don't mind the "oh shit, he said that" moments.

This gonna sound cheesy, but in the end, I hope all of the transfers that come to Alabama in any sport enjoy their time and appreciate the program. I'd hate knowing it was a mistake for them, but just hope they feel they made a good decision.

Never thought I'd see the day where had more than three-five active NBA players. Soon we'll be in the double digits.

If anyone ever wonders why recruits want to play here, his system is literally a carbon copy of what's being played by many NBA teams.

I'm a big, big fan of Philon. I think he may eventually solidify himself as the backup PG midway through the season. But Aden Holloway did have some nice assist to Cliff, so you never know.
