Could you imagine the pitchforks and torches being lit by college football fans outside of Tuscaloosa if that did happen and Alabama pulled Vanderbilt as a yearly opponent? I personally would not like having them on the schedule every season. Just a game I don't want to watch.
Amen!! But too much money would be lost for the power brokers. I think that UA is a large part of their success/standing in the CFB world. Their obsession with UA football is the driving force behind their relevancy, if they have any.
Based on this initial year of NIL, I think athletes, companies, schools and conferences will learn a lot about what works and what doesn't work for the betterment of athletes, companies, schools and conferences.
