Damn it...

I feel for Allen... Came back another year due to the shoulder injury, did everything asked of him and played like a SOB, but didn't impact his value much if any due to the shoulder injury.

I think Mayock is saying another injury issue was red flagged on Rueben after a second medical evaluation... Helps explain his freefall... And potentially he wasn't invited.

NFL def not as high on Bama players as the "gurus"... Certainly not as I am... Hope they're proven wrong, but the track record is justified.

No injury, he failed a piss test.

Broncos local radio tonight they reported that teams were warned late about another injury issue... I tend to believe it, especially now that Peppers is off the board.

Lots of rumors this time of year... If/When he falls to second round, there will be plenty of talk tonight I'm sure. We'll see.

Edit - Off board at 31

They've talked about it all night, the failed piss taste scared some teams off combined with the rotator cuff.

So much for Cam Rob leaving early - some said not strong enough, others said not good enough foot work. I don't know how many paid attention to him costing us 5-10 yards a game with false starts. Others say better guard than tackle.

All I know is the Outland Trophy winner is going to be a 2nd round pick and two other OTs (one who didn't play a lot, and played for UTAH) were drafted ahead of him.

I hope he proved them all wrong....

I think I may have been the only one on here that said Outland be damned, Cam isn't a first-rounder, that he needs to stay another year. A true Frosh, Jonah Williams, on the opposite end of the line graded out better than Cam.

Well?

.....

Well?

He has very good foot work, he just has some timing issues. Sometimes that gets him beat on a speed rush(when he doesn't get out of stance fast enough), sometimes leads to a false start. If he can work those out or maybe gets moved inside, he should be a good one at the next level.

ETA:This was in response to braden

Him and Hump both really needed another year. Can't believe that Hump was our first player taken. He has the potential but really needed another year to work on his ball recognition on deep routes.

I never could have fathomed him falling out of the first round... IF HEALTHY. We really don't know for sure how that checked out, especially considering how teams are viewing the Tiders right now.

But if there were no health concerns, this is quite the disappointment for him. Add in how weak this OL class is and I'm shocked.

Right again, SLO.

Cam did NOT have the focus this year; injuries, drugs? I don't know. AND it was repeatedly said pre-draft that he didn't have the upper body strength, albeit possibly because of injuries. But if Cochran can't get you strong, nobody's gonna get you strong. He should have gotten his degree and perfected his craft.

Lots of ability - saw film of how he did against Garrett, and he won most of the day - that guy was drafted number one. And ALL of us remember plays where Cam went out and took out a corner or a safety in the flat to spring a big run - pretty fast getting out there. So, maybe better at guard? I dunno.... But I hate to say it, 'Bama is better off on the left side this year, than last.

No doubt, he had his "top-5 pick" moments.

His problem was consistency and his bone-headed propensity to be good for at least 2 penalties a game.

I agree that Jonah will end up much better. Hell, he might be our first #1 overall pick if he continues his consistency, intelligence, his high ceiling, and experience when his draft time comes.

His well-known and uncanny-for-his-age work ethic indicates he will only improve (if you can imagine him getting EVEN better).

I think that kid from Utah was kicked out of four different schools too
