Memphis coach Tubby Smith said his team would be playing Alabama next season in the Veteran's Classic at Navy, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reported. Alabama officials did not respond to requests for confirmation of the game.

Additionally, in 2017-18, UMass will compete in the Barclays Center Classic (Brooklyn, New York), alongside Alabama and BYU, during Thanksgiving week. In 2019-20, the Minutemen will participate in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Tipoff. More information will be released at a later date.

Let's play two! Looks like Bama is playing Friday and Saturday. The Legends Classic is on Monday and Tuesday. Had no idea they would be playing two tournaments there that week.
