Interesting comparison between Elliot and Henry.

I only recall one play all season where I saw Henry get beat on pass rush. The rest of the "misses" were when he was on the wrong side of the Qb to block the rush. If you recall, about 75% of all snaps he was in the game, they had him lined up on the left of Coker and a high percentage of the pressures came from the right, where we were much weaker. I hated the fact that they lined him up so often to the left, meaning that if they were running, it was to the right, where again, we were much weaker.

This is where the "experts" fall short. They look at stats but are not invested in watching every play like I am for Bama. Nobody can do that for all teams, which is why they use stats as a crutch.

Maybe I'm wrong about your intent here, but I think you missed the point. This stat sheet isn't showing how many missed blocks he had in pass protection, but how many guys he made mis-tackle him completely when he was running the ball...

Yeah, you missed my intent. Look at those numbers, the only one where Henry did not have better numbers was in pass block percentage. That was the number I was arguing with.

Now is EE more elusive in the backfield, sure, I will give him that but everywhere else, I would prefer Henry. He has the field vision that Trent never had and he had to develop it more at Bama because he did not have as good of an OL as Trent had. The other thing they keep saying EE is so much better at, pass catching, is also a fallacy. tOSU used the checkdown way more than Bama did, they also put EE out in patterns much more, going empty. EE had many more receiving yards as a result, so they are saying he is much better at it. Yet, at the combine, they threw like 10 passes to both EE and Henry. EE was body catching, Henry was hand catching(the better way), EE dropped two passes and juggled two more, Henry caught all 10 smoothly. Still they keep claiming EE is a better pass catcher...because stats. Bama just rarely ever threw to Henry, almost never on a checkdown(which may not have been by design, just Jake and PS4 just never got that far in progressions). The few times they actually did pass to Henry, it usually went for a huge gain, many times to the house.

Just saw the Sports Science they did with J Reed. He recorded the fastest ever time at pushing the 300lb sled over 5 yards. Again, this "ever" is a bit misleading, as they have only been doing this for the past 7 or 8 years. Still, impressive.

Seems like every person on Sports Science gets the "best ever" category in something.
Yeah, like I said, it is only a comparison of players from an 8 year period and not every drafted player. Also, they do like 100 tests, so surely they would win at least one of those, being they only really test the projected 1st rounders.

Every year I hope the Broncos will get a Roll Tider...

This year, I'm hoping it's Ragland. Need LB depth, but probably have to trade up to get him.

McShay is really down on A'Shawn... If he's there, he would have to be strongly considered after the Malik Jackson departure.

Hearing rumors that they Nkemdiche would be in the mix... As much as it pains me, he's ridiculously talented and would be hard to pass up at 31. Although he's got real bust potential, obviously.

What is Denver going to do about a QB? I'm just asking since you mentioned the Broncos.
