I totally agree, but who among us doesn't like the occasional game with a team like Penn St. I just think with teams like Boise and TCU getting all of this attention that it will hurt games like that in the future.

We will still get one "big" OOC game a year... Penn State, Michigan, (other ACC teams in the Chickfil A Kickoff Classics in '13 and '14), Michigan State, Georgia Tech, etc...

It won't make any difference what Boise and TCU do as long as UA wins their games... and the tougher the OOC opponents, the harder that is for the Tide to do. I think everyone here would much rather play Michigan and 3 cupcakes in '12 and win all of our games and go to the BCSNC game again, then play Michigan and Arizona with 2 cupcakes, and end up losing to Arizona, when we could have been playing someone like FIU... then end up playing TCU in the Sugar Bowl.

Nebraska and USC were perennial NC contenders then , and Washington was good. Missouri had beaten us the year before in Birmingham. How's that for a brutal way to open the season.

It will be a while to wait, but Ga Tech and UA rescheduled for 2019 and 2020.

Local opinion is that Ga Tech will continure to postpone until Saban retires. :rofl:
