Although this letter is entertaining, if it's legitimate it's as much evidence that the Raiders are dysfunctional, as Kiffen alleges, as it is that Kiffen is a loose cannon. Both are probably true.

My first thought as well Tim. I suspect the letter was somehow leaked by those from the Raider organization.

I have to wonder...

What would be of more concern to a coach? Ticking off the number of SEC coaches he has and then having to face them on the field? Or, a table full of Oakland/NFL lawyer types?

My first thoughts are, I to think this is some made up internet BS. How would anybody get this type of info and splatter it all over the internet unless its some Ticked Raider. As I read it, I too think the the Raiders have just as much dysfunction as Kiffin is dysfunctional. Al Davis might as well signed it, if its the real thing. It wouldn't suprise me though.

While this all seems meant to be a character attack against Kiffin, given what has already transpired since his recent hiring at UT, you can't attack an imaginary target.

At this point Kiffin will have to rely on the Parents of the student athelete prospects to be living in a cave in order to have a shot. Of course, surely he can rely on all the SEC coaches he's befriended to not point these discressions out to these prospects
