🏈 You think Scarbinsky is getting nervous?

I don't buy it either! He had 24 career sacks. Hell, DT had 27 in one season! I don't remember if DT got any consideration, but I dare say he was not even in the Top 10.

Two words: "Kirk Herbstreit"

At the end of the Tex/Neb game he stated that Suh should be in the running and all of the other lemmings jumped off the cliff behind him.

Now, I'll go along with him being a great lineman but he breaks down like this:

Total Tackles: Unranked

Solo Tackles : Unranked

Tackles for loss: 14th

Sacks: 9th

Forced Fumbles: Unranked

Fumbles recovered: Unranked

Now for Ingram's relevant categories:

Rushing: 12th

All Purpose yards: 31st (1864 yds)

Scoring: 26th

And to be fair Toby:

Rushing: 2nd

All-Purpose: 19th (1885yds)

Scoring: 1st

Bottom line IMO: Gerhart is legit, if he wins I got no problem with it. Suh, while a great lineman, should not be in the running for the Heisman.

Unlike some voting for these other individuals awards where ballots were cast before the Florida-Alabama game, many Heisman voters actually waited until after the SEC & Big-12 Championship games before making their decisions.

Mark's chances are still good.

Whatever the outcome, I am extremely proud of Ingram and all the other Bama players and coaching staff who have been recognized for their outstanding achievements and efforts this season. They have represented the University of Alabama well.

RTR!!!
