🏀 You may recall UA's medical team not clearing Jared Butler who transferred and played at Baylor. The NBA hasn't cleared him to compete.

I always thought this story was strange in how he couldn't play for Bama due to his heart condition but was cleared to play at Baylor. We've had our fill of physicians disagreeing with each other over the past year with C-19 but it was still baffling to me how one team could diagnose a heard problem and other team says "ok to play."

Well, as it ends up, it appears he's not healthy enough to play in the league.

Interesting. Not surprising given Baylor’s history.

Man, Baylor was a stud for them. They had no chance without him this past year. Imagine him in crimson on the team we fielded this past season. Likely us holding the trophy rather than Baylor.

I get insurance and risk, but if the kid wants to chance it, let him chance it. Force him to sign an iron clad contract, media blast it so everyone knows, and then let him play.

We all play with some kind of issue or difference in ourselves that others don't somewhere along the line. How many shots have been given to players so they could play through injuries, how many injuries do people play with? Ones that could alter their future health as well.

Would he still have gotten his scholarship honored for four years if he didn't play?
