...than the guys we have calling the game for CBS, ESPN, etc., each weekend, right?

A few here that have been in, or around, the press box at Bryant-Denny will attest to their booth being a lot smaller than what people might imagine. Literally, room for four in what I'd consider an uncomfortable room and they throw five and six in that booth.

Now, take that to Vandy?!?! It's worse.

I don't even know what the size of my TV is; forgot. I do know it's about three times bigger than what is in the booth, if not more.

Now, why am I going on and on about this? Because, it's easier to see some things as fans, at home, than it is for people in the booth. (Hence part of my curiosity of why people get so upset about what's said in the booth.)

So, as a little example this morning of a case just like what I'm painting here ...

Gary (paraphrased) -- As you can see the hit was a little low...no, let me rephrase that, a lot of low.

Fact: I could see that better on TV, and this morning on my computer, than Gary could from the booth.

I understand the rational behind refs having to call this. Bottom line is $$$$ and lawsuits.

My only issue is the very next offensive series, Jalen was tackled behind the LOS and looked to be almost identical and nothing was thrown/said.

To add a note here as well:

The official that has his eyes right on the hit (Center judge) doesn't throw the flag. It comes from behind the quarterback. And, if you have forgotten, the C is the 8th official added this season for a better called game.

1:40 - 1:45 mark ... looks to me like he his hit above the knee and slides down.

I was actually shocked at how small the TV booth is at Bryant-Denny. It's obviously bigger than Troy but not as much as you would imagine. Hell, the AD's private suite is almost as big (and from the time I stuck my head in before I was ushered away, has a better food spread too lol).
