🏈 Yellow covers?

Anyone know why some players at the A game had yellow covers on their helmets?

On kickoffs some players are designated on the kicking team and others on the return team. With the team already split in half, the easiest way is to just have them set to either kicking or returning without worrying about "white" and "crimson" squads. The yellow covers are put on then to differentiate in kicking situations.
