💬 Y'all want to argue with me about a great weekend of sports? The US Open and college baseball?

That was the only shot of the tournament I saw live, flying back from Dallas with the grandkids, guy ahead of me was watching it. It's always great when a middling player catches fire, implodes, and then regains his groove to win a big one.

It was a non-Alabama sports weekend, which means I didn't watch any of it. I had to search just now and see if the NBA or NHL finals were over. I read Rick Bragg and Brian Kilmeade on the flights Thursday and Sunday, and we did grandparent things for four days - water park, trampoline park, resort wandering, American Girl store experience.

I'm sitting here, having caught up with the latest salvos from Israel and Iran, read the latest on a pitiful human who kills for political views, and struggling to figure out which democrat the NYT considers least defective for mayor...all the while, I've got a couple of articles open on stablecoins and I'm trying to decide it they're worth my time and effort. I'm curious, and a bit of me wants to stay relevant, but I may just go for a walk.

@It Takes Eleven Tim. There are a few things I can say with confidence, or ego if you choose. I'm pretty good at this game. I was watching all of this happen yesterday with other tabs/screens reading political reactions.

I was playing Santee National. This is...I don't know, 20 years ago? We played nine and I posted a 41. I'm a little pissed. A storm came through and we watched the drainage on the course for abut two hours. (Ha, just remembered. Had an egg salad sandwich that day....Texas toast, pretty good.)

I shot 32 on the back. It was so wet that the ball didn't move when it landed.

Nice story about seeing that in all of this shit...'preciate ya.

Cut 15 on the back..a beuatiful fade pulled over the trees and landed one the left side. Tim. I am on my game...and put too much spin on this one for a bird. Walked away with a par. Blues.
