šŸˆ Would you prefer Lane Kiffin to coach Bama over KD?

Yes very good... and has improved, which is key. He was this [<-->] close to being fired last season... and many of his own fans had turned on him. A lesson there to be learned for many...

Day has done an outstanding job after taking over at osu. As bad as I do not like the osu, I do have to give him major props for the job he has done and is doing.

CLK is a very good offensive mind, no doubt about it and he is a good head coach. He turned around FAU and OM. He stayed at OM longer that he has stayed anywhere, 6 years. I do feel he would have been a consistent 9-11 win coach a year in Oxford. He also was making 8-9 million dollars a year> I mean, how much money does a person need?

I really hoped LK had learned from his previous stops and would do the right thing. There would not have been as big an issue if he would have just been a man and said he was leaving for another job, LSU or whomever. My problem with LK is that he held a team, a university and OM fans hostage. This is his 3rd SEC team, FAU, USC and the Raiders. OM, the players and the fans are not the problem, LK is the problem. I have lost all respect for him as a person and coach. Rant over.

I'm not exactly sure that is the way it went down... I am not a LK fan and I am sure he could and should have handled this differently... however, My view on this is he told Ole Miss he wasn't going to make a decision until after the playoffs and Ole Miss forced the issue with the deadline. I think this whole blow up is more in Ole MIss' lap than Lane's...

I think Ole Miss knew Lane was gone and was ready to move on and not be behind a month in finding a coach/recruiting. Lane, should not have tried to leverage his coaches to force Ole Miss to let him coach. The better route would have been to take the LSU job and encourage his coaches to stay with the team and get them through the playoffs and then come talk to him about a position at LSU.

I think Ego's on both side got in the way of this being handled well.

Would you leave a coach who is leaving for a hated rival in charge of your program for another month? This tweet was awesome:

How many car dealerships do you want to buy?

Both sides could’ve handled things differently. Lane had to be Lane though and make it a spectacle. Sending his family to check out Gainesville and BR during the bye week, not a good look at all. Ole Miss demanding an answer, not good either. I actually don’t place any blame on LSwho here, because from what I understand, they were willing to wait until after the playoffs.
Giving ultimatums to your assistants, not good!

Not that Ole Miss needed any more motivation to beat LS who’s a$$. They literally hate each other. Buy your tics early for next years game……
