🏈 With Auburn at two losses in the SEC, how many of you are

I torn between the two scenarios for the same reasons everyone has mentioned. Part of me wants LSU to get a couple of losses starting with Florida so we can lock up the West early but at the same time it would be nice to have a match up of unbeatens with Saban returning to LSU and us playing up in big games.

I'm pulling for UF to win the rest of them if Vandy or KY can't win the East. Rather not play UGA again because I'm afraid it will be harder to get up for them a second time.

My exact thoughts.

To take that a little further, I think it would hurt us, computer wise, to play UGA again. Our best chance at a bid to the NC game is this scenerio. UF wins out and is ranked in the top 5 by the SECCG.

Yeah I think we need Florida to win this one, if we're talking about the SEC Championship. Either way, we've got to take care of business in Baton Rouge and spank Auburn at home. Got a lot of obstacles before we can even worry about them, to be honest.

I do think that Auburn is effectively out of it, though I believe they will beat Arky and Ole Miss. After that, I don't think they have any more wins in them. Well, except for UT Martin  .

So, on to who we've got next...I see the Mississippi game as another trap game, and Houston Nutt might be the most wiley coach of three very wiley coaches (Nutt, Tuberville, Miles). Heck, even Fulmer still has a big win in him this year. I Don't think it'll be against us, but we shouldn't go to sleep on them. LSU and Auburn do stand in the way, but I think we need to focus on the next 3 teams before we get to them.

Wouldn't the best scenario for us at this point be to play an undefeated Vandy in the SECCG? That would put Vandy top 5 I would think. Vandy undefeated..

Honestly an undefeated Vandy scares me to death... I'd almost rather play UGA again

With a weak schedule 5 games into the year, they are dead last in the league in total offense, and 10th in total defense. It would be like playing an OOC HC game for the SECCG.

Tell that to Tommy Tuberville.

I think this team is truly special- and we are by far having a better season to date than most everyone expected (see other topic). I also think it would be one hell of a major, promoted, craaazzzy game if an unbeaten Tide plays and unbeated LSWho BUT, with that said, I could go for that comfort of the pasture and the coonasses having (2) losses each before we play either team because that can just help us clinch the West and the better bowl bids.
