šŸˆ With all the great RBs at Alabama, is USC still Tailback U?

I understand that but that's going back a long, long time. How far back is too far back to still be relevant today? Only two All-American running backs for USC in the last 36 years.

Sorry, but I watched all those guys play. Those were just off the top of my head. There was actually 2 backs named White, Charles and LenDale. 2 Davis, Anthony and Clarence, Clarence, who by the way was from Alabama and McKay got him before integration. He won a Superbowl with Stabler and the Raiders as well. It's hard to leave out Frank Gifford, but he was the one before my time.

McKay and Robinson built their teams around the running back almost exclusively and when they had any of these workhorses, they got the same attention we gave Henry in 2015.

Go ahead and put that one to bed, it's USC.

How is it defined? :naughtydevil: Jon Solomon did a comparison in the spring of '16 that covered five teams. As I recall the top five were USC, Miami, Bama, Texas, and Cal.

Over the last decade if we're going by starts in the NFL, it's Miami and there's no one close. If we're going by draft picks, it's Bama and USC although Bama has one more first rounder.

Great question. In the article it's by All-Americans past 50 seasons and honors of late.
