ā€œZach came to me the other day and told me Tennessee was calling one of the kids that committed to us,ā€ Alvarez said. ā€œHe told me it wasn’t him, he wasn’t involved in that, didn’t like that action.ā€

Alvarez said he’s OK with the departing UW assistants recruiting any players who have not made oral commitments.

ā€œThe other guys that aren’t committed, that you’ve been recruiting, it’s open season,ā€ Alvarez said. ā€œBut the ones that have committed, I just asked for their professionalism.ā€

I can't help but wonder, did he somehow find a way to pay himself for this job duty as well. I mean, stepping in to HC role during the bowl game equated to a $118,500 paycheck. Still can't believe he did this.

So apparently Wisconsin's AD Alvarez is having to fight off a few coaches that left for other schools, its even more interesting that Bielema is finding ways to do what he chastised another for.

The only UW commit for 2013 to decommit so far is safety Tiquention Coleman, from Georgia Military College. He signed with Arkansas and former UW coach Bret Bielema during the early signing period for junior college transfers.

Bielema told the State Journal in an interview on Saturday that he would not recruit players who already committed to the Badgers unless those players approached him first, which Coleman apparently did.
