His bio is still on the team website. But either way, I am curious as to why he left the team following the Sugar Bowl.

Not making excuses for Love if the allegations are true, but this seems odd to me:

“At the time of his attack on plaintiff, Defendant Wilson Love was a football player at the University of Alabama and knew that he was stronger and more agile than Plaintiff because if his physical training and conditioning,” Tuscaloosa attorney James D. Smith wrote in the lawsuit filed in Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court on Sunday afternoon.

^^ Isn't that speculation? Just because you know you are stronger than somebody doesn't mean you are gonna go beat them to a pulp for no reason. Seems like an odd thing to say.

“Upon his return to the hotel room about midnight, Plaintiff was viciously physically attacked by Defendant Wilson Love who jumped on Plaintiff without any provocation, assaulted and beat Plaintiff with his fists,” according to the complaint. “Plaintiff was beaten to the extent that he passed out, his nose was broken, his teeth were loosened, his face was lacerated and he received other injuries.”

^^ Again, seems odd that it would be without any provocation. Perhaps alcohol was a factor, or there was a fight of some sort. I just find it odd someone would randomly go up to his frat brother, on vacation, and beat the crap out of him for no reason.

I honestly think some of these guys go around looking for a football player to start crap with. Why? Beats me!!

Enough evidence out there to know if "some of these guys..." It's less than a week since there was that student attacking a basketball player when they rushed the court.

Geez, ex-frat brother, on spring break, in Los Angeles, and someone loses their head? Could easily happen; both ways.

Think about this for a second...

Here are some bullet points with Wilson.

 • brother of Tyler Wilson.
 • Tyler dealt with a lot of fan ridicule often labeled as a bust.
 • When people talked about his brother, at the end of Tyler's career, they often said "Wilson has a mean streak."
 • The "attitude of a lineman" was another description used, often.

The chances Wilson did this?

TerryP No doubt that Wilson had probably heard all of this crap about his brother and he was probably receiving a helping of it as well. I honestly wouldn't blame him for curb stomping him if that were the case.

If that were the case, and comments like that set him off, that doesn't help my opinion of him (keeping in mind I was using that as a hypothetical.)

If I saw one, I saw a thousand people talk about how Tyler was a "bust" in their eyes. I've found, to a person, when I've asked how much do they know about his injuries in school not a single one of them knew how banged up he was year after year including it was a neck/back issue that pushed him into giving up football.
