🏈 William Vlachos back on campus in a coaching position

GA, Ryan Kelly mentioned it in an interview that Vlachos was helping him.

According to William, he hasn't been given a title yet. He's going to be working with the offensive line, but it's going to be in an analyst type position.

It's certainly not an on-the-field position, but it's also not one that requires him to be taking classes like a GA. A grad assistant is required to take 12 hours per semester. In other words, to be a graduate assistant you have to be a full time student.

We have had these type of players in these roles before. If you recall, several years ago Tim Castille was the first guy we talked about working with the team. The most recent, of note, was probably Chris Samuels.

I realize Al.com reported him as a grad assistant. However, that's not how Vlachos describes his role.

Let me correct one thing. Chris isn't a good example. He was still taking undergrad classes last school year.

But then again, maybe he is a good example. He wasn't a grad assistant because he hadn't graduated. There's a loophole in staff number bylaws these guys are fitting into.
