I am traveling as always from Atlanta to Tuscaloosa for Gameday. With all the flooding here in ATL and storms in Bama/GA with road closures, etc will we be able to make it?
I think once you make it out of Georgia, you should be home free. I know everything from B'ham to T-town is open. I just saw a video of Six Flags...and that looks like the most treacherous area. Douglasville to the GA/AL state line.
I-20 is closed in both directions between Thornton Road/Exit 44 and Fulton Industrial Blvd./Exit 49 due to flooding on the west side of Atlanta. No traffic is getting through on I-20.

The bridge on I-20 could be an issue and if that's the case, take Hwy 278 to Hwy 61. Follow Hwy 61 all the way to Villa Rica and you will be home free. That brings you out at Exit 24 on I-20.
