I found this article interesting and thought that y'all would too. In particular, a quote from Powell caught my eye (this in the last paragraph): "So now we have some type of game plan installed that if they have one good player that's outstanding [emphasis mine], we have to have an answer for it. "

Does OS (and the rest of the college football world) actually believe Cooper is the only "outstanding" player on Bama's offense? I hope that they do, because even if they shut down Amari, which is unlikely, they're going to be in for a big surprise with the other receivers we have.

Clemson didn't have ANYONE on that roster named Henry, Yeldon, Christion Jones, DeAndrew White, or OJ Howard. They don't have Kiffin calling plays either! I don't recall Chad Morris putting Watkins in the backfield either. We have probably only seen HALF of the plays in the playbook with Amari lined up in the backfield.

Everyone seems to assume that since Cooper is targeted so often no one else on the offense is worth dang. If OS is planning its game around Amari it's going to be a longer night for them than I initially realized.

Do you remember much about that game last year? As I recall, Clemson's leading rusher was Tajh Boyd. I know he had over 100 yards rushing but I also remember he carried the ball A LOT. Should we expect more designated QB runs?

A lot of that Clemson win had to do with turnovers: I want to say they recovered at least four, maybe five, in that Orange Bowl appearance.

Boyd accounted for 505 yds. He had 20 carries for 127 yds and their tailback had 12 carries for 69 yds. tOSU had 4 TOs, 2 fumbles and 2 picks. I don't think we will see Blake on anymore than 5-6 designated runs since we will be using the tandem of Yeldon and Henry. The Clemson TB averaged 5.8 per carry himself. Boyd did have a run of 48 that really boosted his stats as well.
