It was either Kelly or Vogler that made a comment to the writers the other day about the offense getting set at the LOS with less than 10 seconds, on average, last season.
The point of the terminology becoming simpler—which would lead to plays being called more quickly—should give the QB more time at the LOS. With a new QB, having an extra five seconds or so to read a defense can only help.
