I dont get it.
Unncessary gave the game away w int.

I had thought the same thing. We rushed the possession. We had timeouts, Henry had wore them down, and we rushed a deep throw. I understand our offensive is not a juggernaut and we hadn't shown the ability to score quickly, but with three minutes and three timeouts I figured your entire play book could be utilized.

Still a dumb play call. No need to try and get it all at once with a QB that has proven throughout the night that he can't make the throw. One of many bad calls.

By that time Ole Miss was gassed and Henry was getting a first down almost every time he touched it. A run was a good gamble IMO. Henry could take one to the house on any given play. Two problems with it: the OL was playing like shit, allowing penetration regularly. If you hit Henry early, he doesn't get started. Two, Coker was moving with the urgency of a three toed sloth. If Henry doesn't get enough to stop the clock, Ole Jake is going to waste another 25 seconds adjusting his Kotex before getting the next play off.

We were still in the game largely because of Jake but he also made enough bad throws and poor decisions that he almost negated his positives. I don't trust him to win games for us

Poor play call. You don't run four deep routes trying to win the game with 3 minutes left. You call crossing routes or intermediate throws, draws to Henry and drain the clock leaving very little time if any for Ole Piss to do anything with. Used to, McElwain would take a drive like that and drain the clock with as little time as possible left on the clock.

We had been really hurting them with the screens to Henry. I would have gone back to that.

On the last interception he would have been better advised to take the sack.
