Been thinking about this and thought I would try to turn this into a poll. Never done a poll but I believe others can add their reasons as well.

I went back and forth between new system and loss of talent (which effected depth).

I know some of the games have been hard to watch but Bama averages like 2 loses a year so its not like we’re 7-6.

At the beginning of the year i was worried we’d fall off more with everything swirling around.

I think what has bothered me most is the inconsistency. We could be high as a Georgia Pine and whipping everybody's ass and follow it up with a piss poor performance. We need to get back to playing to "The Bama Standard".

I’m actually asking if anyone knows… People keep saying the “bama standard” is gone… So I’m trying to figure out how…

As a freshman in 1964 meeting our new HC Robert (Bobby) Smith Co-Captain of Coach Bryant's 1958 team. Coach said right off the bat, "I am your mentor not your friend. We feared disappointing our coach 1st and our town and family 2nd. The makeup of the roster is upside down. These players come to Bama for Money from day one just like every player at every other school. They will get paid no matter the result for one year.

Today's players will quit when shit hits the fan and you better get used to that. When things go great, they're all in. They love the glory but not big on the accountability.

10-2 will be great years going forward but expect more 7-5 or 8-4's than 10-2.

The recruiting pool will only get worse year after year but that is society. I watch when a player fuks up and they come off the field and everybody runs to pat little Johnny on the head. F amazing.

They really should just switch to flag football at this point. NIL has removed tackling from college football.

The big winners in all this is the Jewelry stores and car lots. Nick's sales at MB should have made a buck as well.

Standard will always be there. You need coaches to enforce it.

17 years with nick. Not much in between...nick n bear. Few good/great Stallings years.

I hear ...bama standard....its more "nick-at-bama standard ".

AUs family....i just laugh. Likethey are really different.....then other athletic programs...
And are a family....

Wont sit with some...but what i see
