The media is picking Alabama to win the game, but the media is also the one that is saying that the Tide won't be focused going into the game. The examples they give of problems that could affect Alabama are things like Mark Ingram's heisman win, the glamour of Hollywood and all it's attractions. While some of these are things that COULD happen, who'd like to bet that Nick Saban is preparing for all the could's that this week is throwing at him and his football team? He's done a pretty good job of keeping his team undefeated and having them play to their full potential on every single down which is enough of a challenge as it is, but people are also quick to forget about all the heisman talk for Mark earlier in the season. The team also heard time after time about how they were going to lose. They were going to lose to LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Florida. But when they came out on the field every time, you never saw them play with a chip on their shoulder. You never saw them try to get ahead of themselves, because they knew what they had to do to get a win in every one of those games, and they performed like a well-oiled machine in every single one of those games. They play like champions because they are champions, and even with all the media talk about how they're going to beat the horns off of texas, you can bet that on Thursday when this football team takes the field, they're going to know exactly what they have to do to win the football game, because that's really all they know how to do.
