🏈 Why is Jesse Palmer's tie so short tonight?

ESPN kills me. If they didn't have a choke hold on college football I would block the channel from my lineup. Was it really necessary to pan in on Beecher EVERY time Smelley made a good pass?

Yeah, Smelley looked good. In fact, he looked very good. That still doesn't make it right to constantly put the cameras on Beecher after every good play by Smelley.

Sorry for the hijack. I wanted to rant but didn't want to start a new thread for it.

I just wish the guys would at least stay focused on the game at hand. Every time either team was about to line up, they would cut to Lou "Sylvester" Holtz or someone in the booth. ESPN IMO is more worried about the almighty dollar than keeping fans happy. Then again, when you're the Microsoft of sports programming, there's no issue with doing it. (Sorry, the Red Bull is finally kicking in.)

And after the N.C. State qb threw that interception to Carlos Thomas to begin the 3rd quarter, they kept panning over to him on the sidlines the closer USCe got to scoring.....Dude is like 18 years old and ESPN has to make him feel about 1 foot tall, hate the ESPN....but the only game in town....and Erin Andrews is hot.....Guess i'll watch :D

Don't worry. This 15 year SEC deal with ESPN will spawn a backlash against "Big TV". Once socialized medicine becomes a rousing success, a right to pay television will be divined by a newly configured Supreme Court. In this brave new era, regulated broadcasts will eliminate shots of injured or ineffective players sitting on the sidelines.

Socialized medicine should also help ESPN broadcasts. Lou Holtz won't have access to lifesaving procedures, and neckties will be outlawed due to potential carotid constriction.

It'll fix everything.

RTR,

Tim

You did see the other two give(Palmer)the rose right. The tie didn't bother me. I did try to not listen to them or the "Doc" as his is call now. Anyway I'm ready for some REAL football and that will be Saturday night 8/7 CST here at the home front. RTR!!!

They gave him a rose? that's gold.

From his days on ABC's "The Bachelor."

Here's some off the wall trivia for you...

Remember the fake punt with OU back a few years ago? Blake Ferguson was that punter. His brother Jeff was the punter before Blake. Jeff's girlfriend moved to NY to be a part of that show, was in the final two...oh, as an ex-gf I might add. Real gold digger.
