ESPECIALLY in this part of the country where you have college football being king of the south, followed by NFL and MLB. I really just donāt get it, that is a sport with far too much lack of action, too many 1-0, and even 0-0 final scores as acceptable outcomes. To me there is no excitement to it, and the athleticism is drastically lower than what you see in every other major sport.
Iāve had a friend, who for some odd reason is obsessed with England and constantly hounding me to watch Atlanta United and saying I should make soccer my primary sport(LMAO), even after me dropping hint after hint that I donāt particular care for the sport, I just cannot watch a bunch of guys kick a ball around back and forth to end the game in a 0-0 final, and I DEFINITELY canāt tolerate all the ridiculous flopping that goes on in it.
College football will always be king here, and nothing anyone can say or do will change that. And he even went so far as to say football fans take things too far. I donāt seem to recall frequent mass riots like what we see with soccer fans, itās absurd.
