Hated hockey until I went to my first pro game. Loved it ever since. Our local team folded though so it is harder to see games. It is a game that really suffers on TV unless you have a large HD screen. Fox used to do games well as they had a chip in the puck that allowed them to highlight it during play so you could see it better on TV.
I still love my Bama Hockey puck I got from the team a few years back.
