Just curious who stood out the most in your eyes

obviously Maze stood out. Lacy was outstanding as was Fowler. breakout offensive was White. Defense Hightower and Upshaw as expected. Trey DePriest really impressed me and Dial did a great job as well as Barron. pretty much whole defense impressed me top to bottom everyone did well. Clinton-Dix vicious hit was awesome.

how did Jessie Williams do? Always hard to tell from the stands on each player

Actually, I thought Jesse did quite well today occupying blockers and getting penetration frequently. There were a couple of time the announcers credited tackles for loss to someone else but it was really Jesse making the play. Also, Chapman was excellent.

While he may not be in the Top 3 anywhere on this board, I'm going AJ McCarron if only because he performed better than I thought he was going to.

AJ and Lacy without question. The Defense is a machine.

I would vote McCarron or Maze.

McCarron played pretty well.

Maze put up obscene numbers while doing a little of everything. I think I would have to give it to Maze, for his all-around production.

I know DePriest had double digit tackles but weren't like 7 of them on special teams? he looked good while on defense the little he was but he'll be a beast on special teams for us.

Maze and Hightower/Upshaw get my vote.

Lacy was blasting through like a beast! I was also impressed with McCarron as well.

on D i would say DePriest as he was the newbie on the scene racking up tackles

D. White seemed to step up in the absence of Hanks. Not to the same level, but filled the need when needed.

Lacy is like a thrill ride, great excitement while the fear of tradegy looms in the back of your mind. Hang onto that ball Eddie.

Cudos to Maze for stepping out of Julio's shadow like ole Number 8 was never there.

AJ seems to have abit more faith in his arm than ability. Don't get me wrong, great arm there, but he's forces it too much for me.

P. Sims could use his legs more. He's a good scrambler, but seems to be trying to prove that he is a pocket passer.

Jesse Williams showed scary quickness, but in open space was not his friend. I kept thinking that his future was interior.

That being said, Dial looked like he realized that he could indeed play on this level. He will break out this year IMHO.

The whole Defense. Look how long it took for Kent St to get a first down and the second one. Minus yards running in the game. I don't count the TD that Kent got on them.
