Penn State. They were expected by many to make a run at their conference if not the playoffs. Now they are going ot be lucky to make a run at anything.

LSU was expected to have a big drop off for anyone who paid attention. I honestly don't think they should have even been ranked to start the year with everything they were losing. But ever year's first ranking starts with a lot of bias from the previous year's last ranking.

You could definitely give that to Michigan, LSU, Tennessee, or Texas. All of these schools were supposed to be turning the corner, and in LSU's case making a run to the upper echelon of college football due to their success last year and recruiting. Texas has failed to get over the hump yet again. Michigan still underachieving even after all of the pre-season media pump up. Tennessee was also expected to challenge in the East with a solid offensive line, good recruiting, and another year defensively under Pruitt, and they have failed to take a step in the right direction.

UT lost a game when a RB fumbled going into the end zone on a TD that would've won the game vs. TCU. Then they lost to Oklahoma in 4 OT. Then they beat Oklahoma ST

He most certainly is on the hot seat. And it's getting hotter by the day. That doesn't mean he'll be gone this season. It certainly does mean there is a growing contingent there that want him gone. This goes beyond their record; far, far beyond.
