🏈 Who is Kirby Smart's agent?

Nick Saban:bluebiggrin:

"We want our assistant coaches to be able to fulfill the goals and aspirations that they have," Saban said.Make no mistake, being a head coach is one of Smart's goals, but he's not ready to lunge at just any opportunity. Kines, who lives in Tuscaloosa, sees Smart as a patient man. Smart hit what Kines called "another gear" under Saban and is in "probably the best assistant's job in America" at Alabama.
"I don't think he needs to be one of those guys that chases every rabbit that jumps out in front of him," Kines said. "He's earned the right to make his own decision."
Smart nearly pulled the trigger on a job two years ago that would have returned him to Athens as the Bulldogs' defensive coordinator. The lateral move would have been shortsighted, according to Saban.
"It's a little bit human nature to think, like my dad used to say, the grass is always greener on top of the septic tank," Saban told reporters at the time. "You always think it's better someplace else."

I heard Pat Dye Jr. but I hope thats not true lol

We had someone in the last draft, maybe the year before, that took Pat Dye Jr. as his agent. It may have been Julio, possibly Mark. Anyway, it struck me as a little odd until I found out that he and Jimmy Sexton had joined together to form Sports Trust Partners. I believe that happened in the late part of 2010 or first part of 2011.

Julio def. signed with him but I think Dareus did too. Julio is the reason (well kinda) that Dye Jr. got arrested at the NFL combine a cpl years ago lol

Before anyone asks, if you dont know, Julio was signing his UnderArmour endorsement deal at the combine and Dye Jr. (his agent) was obviously gonna be there for it but UnderArmour gave him the wrong persons credentials and the NFL had him arrested for having someone elses credentials there.

Please, someone go cut the phone lines in his office when Auburn tries to call him. Please.

I like Kirby and think he'll be a damn fine head coach. I just don't want anyone associated with the Dye family in a coach's office at Auburn!

Somebody with al.com said the other day that he thinks Kirby is the unofficial coach in waiting at Alabama, but that it would be hard for him to turn down the HC position at UGA.
