I think UF/OSU would be an interesting game. If UF could get any production on the ground I think they could win that matchup

I think ND could do it without any qualifiers

think Clemson/OSU would be a pickem kinda game but I would lean toward the squirrel nuts

OSU has a suspect defense. I think Florida would our score them. Would be a shootout but Florida would put up a ton of points. I’d say Georgia’s D is stronger than OSU’s. Clemson beats OSU, Dabo has their number. I think ND could beat them as well. Buckeyes haven’t been world killers in their 5 games. They have some weaknesses especially on D. But hell, we haven’t seen them play enough to assess. Different story if we’ve seen them play 2-3 legitimate teams. They e played 4 terrible teams and Indiana that I’m not sold on. Indiana was a 7 point game. Ouch. They needed a pick 6 to win that one and scored no points in the 4th quarter while Indiana was making their comeback. Cindy has more wins and likely a better resume. In my opinion. They’ve played 2 ranked teams and won both handily. And beaten the self proclaimed Florida champs UCF.

What if Clemson was 3-0 after a season. Or if Bama was 3-0, only played 3 games. Where do you draw the line as enough of a sample to show one team is better than the rest who have larger samples? Hard to compare a 6-0 team to 10-0 and 11-0, even 10-1 teams. We’ve learned paper wins don’t count. Look at us against Clemson 2 years ago. Can’t go by who we think would win.

I think Clemson beats them.

I think Florida would have a shot. Ohio State's defense has not been dominant and their secondary in particular has been susceptible and Trask, Pitts, Grimes, Shorter, and Toney would exploit that. Would be a shootout, so coin toss.

Cincinnati has a legit shot in my mind. They look fast, go fast, and have been relatively successful. Not many defenses will stop Ohio State, so this is another shootout like the Florida game. Toss up, but I think Cincinnati wins 3 out of 10 times here.

Notre Dame beat Clemson when they had their backup quarterback. DJ is as good as Fields, way better arm. Saying that, Notre Dame's defense can keep them in the game and allow their offense to put up some points. At this point, give me Notre Dame to exploit an Ohio State team getting the rust knocked off.

I say these teams because Ohio State has played a garbage schedule against no teams with talent that can mirror their own. Each of the teams I mentioned above either have the talent to go toe to toe or have gelled to a point where I feel they are more in sync as a team.

Texas A&M would get rolled by Ohio State in my opinion. Coastal Carolina would put up a good half before Ohio State's talent would take over. I feel the same way about BYU if they were still undefeated.

Only Bama and Clemson. Still believe the real ND is going to show up. Sorry but Mon and A&M would not do it. Florida would score some points but not enough. I honestly think based on talent they are one of the 4 best.

I do not share the high opinion of Clemson that several on here seem to have. They lost their “big” game against ND not because of offense but because of their defense. I think Clemson struggles with any team that has a multi weapon offense

I see your side and don’t argue. But I never underestimate Dabo. And sunshine has the ability to light it up. Not sure what has happened to Etienne but he’s worn us and many others out in his 11 years there. They only lose to SEC teams in the playoffs.
