Nebraska. OU sometimes likes to lay an egg early and back their way in.

Hard call. BYU over ND is the easy pick due to the turnover at ND. Nebraska only lost by 7 last year though it was 23-9 with just 5:30 left before they scored to make it decent. BC only lost by 6 last year to Clemson at Clemson and it was 13-13 in the third before Clemson's D held and they got 2 FG to win it. Due to losing their QB, Pitt may have their hands full with WV.

I do have to ask though. Mississippi State beat A&M last year so is that really an upset to watch for? If so, then I gotta go with this one. They are playing at Klanga Klanga a week after A&M has Arkansas and the week before A&M has to come to Bama.

BYU. But a$m will be preparing for Alabama the first five weeks just as they did in 2021 when they beat Colorado in the last minute and lost to ARK and MSU, so ASU, Miami, ARK, and MSU are not sure "W"s.

Miss State over aTm.... Thinking Jimbo's only focus this season like last or any other previous year will be us. Giving him the opportunity that he always takes to shit the bed a few games... this possibly being one of those.

I like Boston College over Clemson. Clemson still gonna have a dang good defense, but I know Boston College has played with them the past couple of years. Boston College has their quarterback back, Clemson as well but in a more negative light. I just feel like with coaching departures, unstable quarterback play, and new secondary may affect Clemson early if Boston College can capitalize.

I am also going with BC over Clemson. BC is no pushover and they usually give strong teams all they can handle. IMO, there are too many unanswered questions on the offensive and defensive side of the ball with both cooridnators leaving for other jobs. We will see how good Dabo and the Tigers are this year.

One thing A&M has in its favor is they do return three of their four in the secondary. They were one of the three SEC teams that held opponents under 200 yards per game passing last season.
