Which QB would you draft first?

Hate to be this guy, but would need more info. What team/system? What pick number? Etc.

But, unless I had a gun to my head, I wouldn’t take any of them in round 1 most likely. I’d find another need/position and grab them instead. I do like the value that Dart offers though as a later pick, but I wouldn’t reach for him (or any of them).

Yeah I thought about that before I posted it. Figured it would be hard to figure in all the variables. I don't see but maybe 1 first rounder but I'd bet that won't be how it plays out.

I agree with Brandon, way too many variables and depending on my needs, a QB from this class ISN’T a must have. I mean, the Lions just resigned Teddy Bridgewater, who just led his HS alma mater to a state championship.

Maybe Which QB do you think will have the most success in the NFL would've been a better question but variables really have the same effect, seems like a lot of teams just draft the highest rated whether he fits their system or not.

I hate to agree with you I do too!
  • Cam Ward
  • Shedeur Sanders
  • Jalen Milroe
  • Quinn Ewers
  • Carson Beck
  • Kyle McCord
  • Jaxson Dart
  • Will Howard
Ward he will be drafted, Sanders to him it has to be the Giants, Ewers toss up, Beck will be be ready, McCord I don't know, Dart he will go but where, Howard again don't know. Last but not least Milroe I have heard he may need another year, like what Jalen Hurts did by going to Oklahoma, but that coach is at USC. So I think he will transfer to USC because that coach did help Hurts.

Does the "little you've seen" include Cam quitting "opting out" on his team at half time of the bowl game? Hell, Dart can throw three INT's within a couple of minutes...but at least he's on the field playing the game.
Wouldn't want him on my team. Howard and McCord have more of the attributes I'd want in the pro style offense I prefer.

Talk about reinforcing a point made but argued. When Jalen comes up for the draft ... the OC, HC, and GM ... which offense do they prefer?

IE: Philly would grab Jalen before Jaxson whereas a team like KC would grab Dart before Milroe.

Again, caveat: Not really an NFL guy...just my limited view based on what I've seen these guys do in past drafts.

Guess I'm a little old school. I like a qb who can see the field, knows the d well enough that he can tell what they're doing most of the time, has pocket presence and most of all accuracy. As much as I can't stand him, a Peyton Manning type.
Seems to me that a lot of high schools pick the best athlete to be qb because of the offenses they run so we don't see a lot of the true old school pro style qb's anymore.

I do as well (although I would have picked someone like AJ for a comparison.) I love a double TE set, single back, with a couple of good receivers. I'm not a big fan of where the offensive game is today. I tire as much of people complaining about a game manager for QB.

Is this a basketball thread where we are talking about FT percentages and the lack of development in high school? It's a first cousin.

O boy. Here we go.
First. Did he choose to play half and let next years qb play second half???? Or was it HC decision. After all. The game was........
I really would have liked to have seen our potential next year starterin second half vs Michigan

Decision?? Even if its said one way. Is that really the way?????

And Cam looking at first 5 pick money.
Maybe shouldn't played first half
Certainly a risk. But so is life!

So. I don't know. I didn't really even k ow he sat out. The tv was on but sound mutef and lot of stuff going on in house i saw backup playing. Didnt know why. Or care actually

So. I dont know. A shit performance like JM ( and others)
Or a sit out. Which i absolutely hate in a player. Quitters i see them. Quit on team mates. But if a hc wants to see his next year starter. ?????? And starter wants to protect himself. ?????????????

Who is saying thats wrong
