Two ways to ask the same question, really. Or three.

We don't see position battle played out in front of the media. I'm guessing we won't see a running back in B-ham largely due there not being a "true starting back" in the sense we've seen.

I have my doubts we'll see Jalen. It's easier to keep him out of the storylines if he's not in front of the story tellers. That said, when Tua was getting a lot of air time a few months ago we saw Jalen making the rounds as well--first pitch at a few games, etc.

Selfishly, I'd like to see Scott. He's got a personality I'd like to see on display. As example:

I think you'll see Rashaan Evans, Da'Shawn Hand, and a guy like Piershbacher or JK. Evans was made for the camera and loves the spotlight. Plus, Coach Saban may make him go to answer questions about his fall after the Peach Bowl as well () Hand is a guy that also loves the camera, but a guy that has waited his turn and ready to be the #1 recruit he once was and I think Saban will reward that time and effort. You always need a big ugly in front of the camera with their no non-sense outlook and good insight into the team. JK is a character like mentioned before, and I think he would be a fun personality to add to the event. The cube solving is amazing. Apparently there is a pattern you go by and a way to learn that pattern in efforts of carving out a time like his. I had a buddy at Georgia Tech that was able to learn it fairly quickly, but it still takes a smart brain to figure it out. Enjoy his dance moves below.

The players from Alabama are typically upper classmen. That would eliminate Jalen. My bet would be Piersbacher, Evans and Ridley
I thought about Ridley. It was back in '14 when Saban last took a Junior to media days and that was Amari. Landon was with Amari that year. Wasn't he a Senior? I remember Ragland, Kelly, and Drake being together: all seniors. It was OJ, Eddie, and Allen last year.

(Christion Jones, was he was Amari and Landon?)

AJ, CJ, and a lineman...Steen, maybe?

It wouldn't be out of character for a Junior considering Amari. It was a given it would be his last year. Is it a given it's Ridley's last season?

Collins and Cooper were all in the same class. Ryan Anderson, Yeldon, and Drake as well.

For media days, Drake was with Kelly and Ragland. I thought it was note worthy for a lot of reasons...one being he was Derrick's back-up. Same class, yes, but not at media days. Anderson wasn't a part of the '16 media days.

I hope Coach Saban follows the same recipe as last year. Hamilton, Hand, Evans, they stuck it out and that couldn't have been easy. If we do get some juniors, my money's on Ridley/Fitzpatrick.

Those three wouldn't be following the same recipe of any year with Saban; no offensive player in those three you've listed. I can't see Ridley over a lineman on offense and especially a senior starting center.

My bad, I thought you were asking about recruiting classes. Drake was a guy that had an up and down journey in Tuscaloosa, but waited his turn and came back from injury, so I was thinking about Hand in the same light as I was Drake as far as a possible invite.

Then I hope they are all seniors, like last year. But it's a whole new world in the locker room and Saban and the team know who the glue guys have been and it should be someone who has distinguished themselves both on and off the field.

I'm ready to be there again for work
