🏈 Where will you be watching the NC game?

At home, sadly. Had tickets, had a room, had plans that included going to Key West for a week after the game and then my daughter got engaged for Christmas and is now planning a $15,000.00 wedding in May!

Sold tickets, cancelled room, canceled plans to go to the game and Key West for a week and took a long walk and cried like Tim Tebow...

Well... I recently met a kid working in a video store here in Burlington (Canada) who, noticing my Bama jacket, mentioned his Mom is from Alabama, went to Alabama, and is still a HUGE Bama fan. Imagine that!!! So looking to hook up with the kid's family at a pub to watch the big game.

Why am I reminded of the Reese's? :icon_lol:

In all seriousness, though, congrats to your daughter! And kudos to you for your sacrifice.

I have never been so happy and sad in the same day... I went from (happy) :tennis: to (confused about what to do) :indecisiveness: to (reality hitting) to (heartbroken):upset: all in just a few hours!

Now I am back to being happy for her and a little disappointed for myself...

The way I see it my daughter will only have one Wedding, but Alabama will play for other National Championships.

Bamauk, you too. How was it that you became a citizen in the Tide Nation? I'm often in the UK on business and one time in London I was wearing a Bama t-shirt and a local saluted me with a robust, "Roll Tide!" Are there many of you over there?

I first started following football by watching NFL, I never had then and still to this day haven't got a team that I get excited about but I fell in love with the game.

So bringing me onto Bama. Its abit lame really but my wife is into all the MTV shows and we was watching two-a-days with Hoover High School and on one of the last episodes they were on about different colleges etc. At this point I hadn't watched much college ball but I thought I would give it a watch and see what it was like and as it happened the first game I watched was Alabama. After that I watched more and more college ball and less and less NFL. There is just something abit more special with college i think. So ever since i have been watching nearly all Bama games. We have got decent coverage of games about 14 hours straight on a game day. They show quite a few Bama games but if they dont i watch them on ESPN player so its all good except for the many late nights.

As far as fans in the UK im not really sure to be honest. Im guessing there will be a few but there isnt a place really for fans to get together except for the Wembley games and thats for the NFL but i avoid going to them as not a big fan of taking the game out of the states.
