šŸˆ Where we'd be without the playoff system.

And you should see the posts at other sites. How the SEC would have at most 1 NC if the playoff had existed over the last 10 years instead of the BCS and how some other conference would have 6 or 7 instead.

I suspected, no, make that expected, such. I also suspect that in our lifetime we'll see a growing group of fans begin to devalue the AP titles and it wouldn't surprise me to see the same with BCS titles.

They already completely devalued any title before the BCS era as of a few years ago. Right now anything before BCS is called a "Mythical National Championship" or MNC in a lot of places. The devaluing of the BCS is already begun also since common wisdom says this year the BCS would have gotten it completely wrong so that means every BCS was a mistake.

I could understand some of the crowing if Bama had gotten beat like FSU, but a one score loss where we had multiple chances to win it at the end and didn't says a lot for how hard fought this game was. It was a playoff game and played as such. Next year we will go out and try to make another run at it.

IMHO TCU should have been in an F$U out even though the Criminoles were undefeated. I know we had more deficiencies than what we were accustomed to, but F$U wasn't very worthy.

I'll bet TCU has something to say, and deservedly so, about the validity of the current and apparently righteous playoff system.

If anyone at TCU wants to say anything about how the playoffs shook out this year their first stop isn't far from their front door—it's in Irving, TX.
