It doesn't matter who he hire for this job! Someone on here will not like it!
Truth. A lot of folks didn't like the Kiffin hire. A lot of folks hated the Daboll hire. A lot of folks thought the Locklsey hire was lazy. A lot of folks thought the Sark hire was going to be a disaster on and off the field.
Meanwhile...
-Kiffin took Alabama's offense to heights unseen and helped morph the offense into what it is today, especially in the up-tempo department and passing game. Also, Lane won a national title at Bama and is now a SEC head coach again after being on the trash heap.
-Daboll came in and also took the offense through and evolution phase, especially in the passing game and with route concepts. He won a national title, and is currently in the mix for NFL head coaching jobs as one of the most respected offensive coordinators in the NFL.
-Locksley stepped into the role, and again, added extensive RPO concepts into the already well rounded playbook. He led Alabama to a national title game and earned himself a Power 5 head coaching job after many said he'd never be a head coach again. Oh yeah, won the Broyles Award.
-Sarkisian came back and took the offense to even greater heights, setting records and a new offensive high watermark. He's won himself a Broyles Award and his offensive players have won (and will win), and unpreceded amount of hardware themselves. He's parlayed his position into a major job at Texas, and is on course to win a national title on the way out the door.
