on another board of which i'm a member, just about everyone who posts in the college football forum was picking clemson to win or wanting them to win.

most of the scores they picked were pretty close.....21-17, 27-20, 24-21 (all with clemson winning). but one person posted 20-10. i guess he didn't watch any of the highlights from any of our other games or thought clemson's defense was that much better.

they were good, and fast; i can agree with that. but i never thought they'd just shut us down and hold us to just one touchdown like that person apparently did.

oh well, glad the guys were able to prove them all wrong.

the one clemson fan on there (may be others, but he's around more and posts more than anyone else) is pretty cool and gave props after the game. he's definitely not a whiner. and i have to like him because his screen name is Spurrier Sucks (although he did mention that he may have to change it now since he's not at usce anymore).

This game had everything and for awhile the Clemson boat people had it right but in the end the gutsy Alabama coaching decisions were the difference. Special teams won this championship in the end. Kiffin's 3rd & long calls were spot on. The on side chip kick was one for the highlight reel.
