One of my favorite Heisman stories involves a winner (don't remember who) that was watching the hubbub with his young son. His son turned to him and said "Dad, what's a Heisman Trophy?" they guy gets up, takes his son into his study to the bookcase and says "That's a Heisman Trophy."
My preacher told that story years ago. I wish I could remember who it was. Or for that matter, the context.
