🏈 When did the MDB start playing the Band of Brothers theme pregame (before the Anthem)?

Y'all ...... my very first 'Bama game was 2018 against AU & when they started playing Thunderstruck, with the light's synced to the drumbeats.... (I had no idea we did that), I almost blacked out screaming so hard. WHAT A DAMN RUSH!

My Jawja wife said that was the most badass thing she ever saw. I echoed her comments.

@OldPlayer I agree. That was an epic flyover. 2005 if memory serves correct. It jarred the ground he was so dang close to the new construction. (so it appeared). One of the old guys I hunt with was the Asst Fire Chief in Tuscaloosa at the time. He said the two-way radios went ballistic because they thought the stadium had been attacked. :ROFLMAO:

As it was coming overhead, I remembered (just in time) to plug my ears. That was an unbelievable and unparalleled fly over. I have had season tickets for 23 years and none have been even remotely close to that flyover. What you don't see in the video is after the jets clear the stadium, the two fighter jet escorts tilt 90 degrees and shoot straight up as the refueler keeps on it's path. That was badass to the nth degree.

It looked like it was flying between the two upper decks. It was flying low so most people didn’t see it until it was over the stadium.

Those pilots got into a bit of trouble for it if I recall... nothing major I don't think, but an ass chewing at the least.

I don’t know bud. The 2001 AMS flyover that had a B2 (maybe) that pulled straight up And tilted his wing so you could see the 3 and the engines were shaking the stands. Pretty awesome.

Video? I’m having trouble picturing a B2 or any other large plane pulling straight up since they don’t have the ability to do that.
