What's Next for Alabama Crimson Tide Football?
By Franklin Crittenden

2008 was a pivotal year for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football program. It will be remembered as the year Alabama turned the corner, and became one of the major players in college football again.

In just two years Nick Saban has changed the mindset and attitude at Alabama from… can we win… to when we win.

Going 12-2 caught the entire nation by surprise and even the most optimistic Bama fans were caught off guard by this year’s successes.

This year’s outgoing senior class played a major role in setting the tone for the underclassmen now there, and the great players yet to come.

Players like John Parker Wilson, Antoine Caldwell, Rashad Johnson, Travis McCall, Bobby Greenwood, Nikita Stover, Marlon Davis and Nick Walker have left their mark on Alabama football.

They have Alabama fans’ deepest gratitude for their dedication and hard work.

A very solid look at '09, I thought.

With the shell in mind, we can start fitting more pieces in the puzzle after spring camp.

A real, real good chance for another good year!

Great read! This may be the most excited A-day that I've been to in a while. I can't wait to see McElroy vs Jackson.

Oh Gawd...here comes the Darrah lovers now...

I know a guy that is betting his credibility on Darrah being the starter in 2008. Dude is dead serious.

Tell him that a preacher who does not gamble will bet everything he has that Darrah will not be the starter in 2008.

:D

I've tried talking reasonable to the guy. He isn't having it. I'm fully expecting him to attempt suicide when Darrah isn't one of the starters during A-Day.
