šŸˆ What's been your favorite Alabama football victory and the hardest loss for you to take?

Favorite Victory(s)

BSE- Before Saban Era:

In Attendance: 1990 Tennessee 9-6 Very satisfying victory. As you looked around the stadium, they were in total disbelief.

Not in attendance: 1993 Sugar Bowl vs. Miami. What a night!

Saban Era:

In Attendance: 2018 National Championship Game vs. Georgia. Unbelievable game to attend.

Not in attendance 2012 @ LSU with the screen pass from McCarron to Yeldon. Eli's call still gives me chills.

Hardest Losses:

BSE- Before Saban Era:

In Attendance: It's a tie. 1982 Tennessee game. I had never experienced losing to them. Not pleasant. 2003 Tennessee game with all the overtimes. We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Also, the refs cost us a 1st down by spotting the ball short. I had Tennessee fans around me getting up to leave because they thought it was a first down. The game would've been over. Yes, I'm still bitter.

Not in attendance: 1982 Auburn game. Same as Tennessee. Never really experienced losing to them.

Saban Era:

In attendance: 2008 SEC Championship game vs. Florida. That's the only game I attended in the Saban era that they lost. LOL
* I don't go to many!

Not in Attendance: 2022 vs. Tennessee. Living here creates an unbearable situation after a dry spell. Also, that was not pass interference. Tough, tough loss for me.

Finally decided it has to be the 1993 (1992 national championship) sugar bowl against Miami. My brother had a friend that was a GA at Miami at the time. He told my brother, about a week and a half before the game that tuberville (Miami def assistant at the time) that Miami doesn’t match up with bama and he didn’t expect Miami to be very competitive with bama.

As for the worst loss still deliberating on that one.

Favorite football victory is probably still either the '09 SEC Championship, '12 SEC Championship, or the 2015 National title vs Clemson. I was a student at UA from '14-'17, so it was incredible to enjoy the Strip after that title game. Watching Alabama dominate Florida and take over as the king was special. The '12 SEC Championship was just an all around classic.

Worst loss is either 2003 Tennessee or 2010 auburn. I was really young watching it with my dad but still remember just being so pissed when TN converted a fucking 4th and 19.

Bonus: Basketball wise is easy. Worst loss is SDSU Sweet 16. Favorite win is the Clemson game to advance us to the F4.

I didn’t appreciate it at the time, but a vivid memory for me was Antonio Langam pick six against Auburn at Legion Field. My grandfather took me and my brother - I wasn’t even a fan at the time, but remember AL running towards us down the sideline. 90’ I believe.

Pre-Saban Favorite win: the 1999 SEC Championship Game. I was nervous having to face Spurrier a 2nd time after the OT win in the Swamp. But unlike the first game with them that year, this one was an annihilation

Pre Saban Worst loss: Toss up between 1987 Memphis State (way more embarrassing than even the UL-Monroe loss in Saban's first year) and 1989 at the barn

Saban era favorite win: 2017 national title win vs Georgia in OT. It was not looking good at the half. The second half and overtime were something else

Saban era worst loss: The previous season's national championship game vs Clemson. Winning that night would have most likely led to a threepeat
