šŸˆ What we thought vs what we know now- ESPN showing Bama a little love

Always good to start seeing ESPN finally start giving us credit

Think I saw where someone posted this earlier. Mark S. used to be the beat writer for the Dawgs in the AJC. He never struck me as a big fan of Alabama but to his and Chris Low's credit, they have been fair since moving over to "network" sites.

I love the way Alabama is playing right now but I am hesitant to buy too much into the hype. I just want to see how we handle Arkansas this weekend. I know we beat a good team in Virginia Tech but I want see us dominate an SEC opponent and a fairly good one at that. If we beat Arkansas handily and slow down their offense, I will personally have a better picture in my mind than I do now.

Gotta love the way we look right now though. I am just not ready to let go of all my pessimism quite yet but if you haven't bought into Alabama stock yet, you may want to. It could go even higher. Coach Saban says the approach to this season has been different in how the team handles success. I think this game may tell, what could be, the rest of the story.

This is an interesting flip.

Alabama also has the easiest road among the SEC West contenders. It plays at No. 4 Ole Miss on Oct. 10, but gets No. 7 LSU at home Nov. 7. The Tide do not play Florida or Georgia, the two best teams in the SEC East.

LSU at home has always been considered a plus, despite their success while playing Bama.

The Ole Miss game, on the road, was supposed to be the difficulty.
