i only hahe one question. what is the freakin deal with the redzone play calling ? bama has two running backs that r more times than not going to get no less than 3 yards per carry yet the last three weeks every time we get inside the 5 or 10 they throu the ball 3 strait plays!!!!!

play calling was questionable there, definitely but Julio Jones never got a shot at the fade because of pass interference that didn't get called. had that not happened and Julio caught it, would anyone be questioning the play calling? assist on that stop for the Tennessee defense goes to the men in stripes. sorry but its true.

This is true! But Bama should have gotten a first down. 2nd down & 1 yard then 3rd down & 1 yard. Not sure why they could not get a 1st on 4th down. With Ingram & Richardson surely Bama could get one yard!

I'm not arguing that whatsoever, I guess I'm just pissed at the horrendous no call. But, even Saban said at the half we prolly shoulda went for it on 4th down there.

I agree, the refs were blind today on pass interference. Should have been first & goal from the one yard line.

Yeah I don't understand the non-PI call in the endzone off the fade to Julio. Announcers said it's probably because Julio looked to of pulled off the route or that the ball was thrown too high to be caught. I guess they've never seen Julio stretch for one in the sky before. But it's over with and i'm ready for an off week. The wife and I are expecting any day now and I told her if she could hold out until the bye week then that would be swell! She is ready to get our daughter out of her so she didn't take that so well I don't think :lol:

Yeah, I didn't understand Danielson attempting to justify the call, maybe he was just trying to put as little criticism on the officials as possible after the debacle last week or whatever, but he 'pulled up' cause the guy nailed him as Saban so eloquently told the official 'he knocked the sh*t outta him!' when he was screamin at him after the play lol. And the 'overthrown' thing was even more dumb especially with Julio, hell the Corner got his hands on the ball and that was after interferring with Julio.

But yeah this team badly needed an off week, that defense was playing on nothing more than guts and heart today. 1 TD allowed in the last 3 games is something they should be proud of especially playing as many snaps as they have.

To say the least I was disappointed with the 2 calls. As a former QB, I would've liked a PA pass called on 2nd and shove it down their throat on 3rd. But we can't be perfect so I'll take the win and enjoy the bye week.

I heard that reference and have no doubt the ref said it wasn't catchable. If it wasn't catchable, then why was the defender who bumped Julio able to get a hand on the pass??? Grrrrrrr.:swear:
