Here's where I struggle with this. When I'm going for the green I'm not looking at the left fringe, then the right fringe, and trying to go between them. I'm going for a specific spot on the green.

If that does translate it seems they're literally giving him a line.

Should be illegal, it's no worse than all-blue jerseys on blue turf, which I think is still disallowed. I'm thinking opening the doors of a stadium to increase breeze when the other team is kicking a field, or having a guy on work release blow the snow off of the field goal area for the home team.
